Peer tutoring works. Various studies—from governmental organizations to top universities—unanimously agree that peer tutoring has a significant positive effect on academic outcomes. It is highly beneficial because of the personalization and relatability that adult tutoring often lacks, making it far more engaging for students. This means peer tutoring can actually be more effective, at a much lower price, than adult tutoring.
To connect student tutors to the communities around us is why we created Northshore TeenTutors.

Northshore TeenTutors is a local tutoring business offering flexable tutoring services across the Northshore area, including, but not limited to, Highland Park, Deerfield, Glencoe, Highwood, and Winnetka. NSTT was founded by Josh Brown and Henry Gamson, alumni of Highland Park High School and is currently led by Liam Hsu and Eli Gamson, both upperclassmen at Highland Park. The NSTT team believes in flexibility focused on what our clients are looking for, and an emphasis on communication so everyone knows thier options.
